Wonderful Winter World

Well, some people are enjoying the wintertime. It was almost 80 degrees here today. Since I have been dreaming of snow, I think I have drawn this photograph to me. It was the first thing that caught my eye on Trunkt today. It is aptly titled "Snow Grass" and was taken by the very talented D.S. Brennan. She incorporates nature into her artwork and is able to take the subtle details and make them stunningly beautiful.

Artsy Alphabet Soup

I am absolutely adoring the things I have found at Carolina Cottage. She is a collage artist that creates decorative boxes, paper trays, paint cans and more. Her belief is that "We have to put our stuff somewhere - that somewhere might as well be aesthetically pleasing."

New Year, New Blog

A new year has begun and I am already starting a brand new project.

Haute Handcrafted is the place to find out about the latest scoop on the most fabulous, creative, hip independent artists and designers. Just call me the Sherlock Holmes of stylish new goods. My mother and I have always had an uncanny ability to spot trends in advance. I guess it is kind of a chic ESP. I might also throw in a few rants and raves about being a designer myself as well as a mother and wife, just to keep it interesting or rather,,, to keep me sane!
